Science instructors Dustin Bender and Bruce Jacobs presented the request to the board that included the purchase of two digital microscopes at a cost of $3,022 each, two stereo microscopes at a cost of $1,618 each and eight compound light microscopes at a cost of $1,000 each from Motic Microscopes.

A request submitted by the Concordia Junior-Senior High School science department for the purchase of new microscopes was approved by the Unified School District 333 board of education during its regular meeting on Monday night.
